Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use nabuya.app, including people with disabilities.
This site is built to follow the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, regulation 35, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA. We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Level of compliance: the site conforms to WCAG 2.2 level AA. We checked it in September 2026 and fixed what we found.
This statement covers the nabuya.app website and the Nabuya app for iPhone and Android; the app links to it from Settings.
The accessibility menu
Every page has an accessibility menu. From it you can:
- Make the text larger or smaller.
- Switch to high contrast.
- Switch to grayscale.
- Highlight links.
- Use a more readable font.
- Stop animations.
Your choices are remembered on this device.
What we have done
- Everything on the site can be used with a keyboard, and a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page jumps past the menu.
- The element in focus is clearly visible.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, or you choose Stop animations, the site drops its decorative animation: the paper scraps stand still, the eye does not blink, and tickets appear without printing in. The scene still follows your scrolling.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
- Text and background colours meet the WCAG contrast ratios, including text over the moving sky and the edges of form fields.
- The 3D scene on the home page is decorative and hidden from screen readers. All of its content is also on the page as text, and the example tickets have text descriptions.
Known limitations
The home page has a scroll animation that some people may find hard to follow. The same content is available as text.
The site has been checked with automated tools (axe-core) and by hand for keyboard use, contrast, text size up to 200%, text spacing, narrow screens and motion. It has not yet been tested with screen readers such as VoiceOver or NVDA, or in Windows high-contrast mode.
If something does not work for you, please tell us. We treat accessibility problems as bugs.
